Our guests share
“This was a magical place to watch our boys learn to fish, tube, ski and drive a boat.”
“Liz and Jess were perfect hosts, respecting our privacy, yet being accessible to answer questions or make suggestions.”
“We were amazed by the multilayered rainbows, eagles, loons and shooting stars.”
“There is an eagle nest a bit behind the house and just about every day we had the pleasure of seeing the eagles fly by, bringing fish home for their babies.”

Wander around
There are no vehicles on the island. The house is among a handful of cottages on the island.

Secluded setting
The house is situated on an island, connected by an elevated boardwalk across a pristine marsh—a bird lover’s paradise. (We’ve seen a sandhill crane as recently as this May over the marsh.) The short stretch lands on a pine tree lined path. The entire distance is a 3-4 minute walk or guests can choose to use the house’s golf cart.
Outdoor gathering spaces
There’s a private fire pit area, plus several private outdoor seating areas to enjoy the lake. (See photos.)
Private neighborhood
The road into the colony is undeveloped and protected woodland marsh area. Trails and marsh benches dot the land. See other community amenities
Enjoy the water
Paddle, sail or motor from your own private dock. (See photos.)
